Legacy of the Wolf

Reliable as a good sword, Fabio Paulinelli strikes back with a new album of chugging, skull-crushing Heavy Metal. Grey Wolf has a formula, and this doesn't deviate from it, and the only question is how good a job the album does evoking that Iron Age metal inspired by Manowar, Ironsword, or Omen. This is a strong effort, with a good recording, some excellent riffs, and Fabio's croaking, ragged vocals over the top. Seven albums in and this guy shows no signs of slowing down, and he is only getting more consistent as time passes. Killer metal from a veteran warrior.
