A new band from Germany joining the wave of True Metal bands like Eternal Champion, Gatekeeper, Smoulder, and Blazon Rite. Writhen Hilt have a strange name, but they have the stuff to become a classic band in this style, with muscular riffing, haunting melodies, and a really strong singer in frontman David Kuri, who has enough character in his voice to give these songs texture. Four songs and an outro is not a lot to judge the band on, but all the signs are really good, and I will be watching for more.
