This is pure old school Swedish death metal, hell it was recorded at Sunlight Studio (and a few others) with Tomas Skogsberg and Stefan Björling. Already you can probably tell what this sounds like, with a fat crushing guitar tone, and those Swedish-style riffs. Ultimately though, you will have heard this before, these guys are pure worship of the Swedish DM scene and unless you've spent up your Entombed discography and went through multiple copies of Where No Life Dwells or Dark Recollections you probably won't find yourself spinning this too much.

I have to say though, kudos to these guys for the combination of artwork and EP title I certainly found slight humor in it, not to mention being a welcome break for the norm of death metal art. Also it's cool that these guys are keeping things firmly old school, although we all know the left hand path has been well trodden (pun intended). This in the end is what relegates this EP to the odd listen when you're on an old school death metal kick. These guys have the right idea, but maybe they should try building a little more on the foundation as opposed to adhering, and I can't help feeling that my ass could have been kicked that little bit harder from Death Suits You. A good effort.
