Now this is a case of a band who's last album I liked, but this one just isn't doing it for me. I enjoyed last year's Order of Vengeance quite a lot, as while there was nothing revolutionary about it, it had a ton of atmosphere. Voice of Opprobrium is, on the surface, more of the same kind of thing they did on the last disc, but this time it just is not as good. Part of it is the production, which is much more polished and modern sounding this time out, and therefore robs the music of that mid-90s underground vibe. There's nothing wrong with this disc, and if you like melodic, moody Black Metal then this is fine, but it doesn't have nearly the atmosphere the last album commanded.
