Reanimator, a band from Quebec, Canada, plays a brand of retro Thrash that crosses the sharp riffing and speed of early Testament with the harsh, angry vocal delivery of pre-groove Pantera. The near-Death shouts are offset by a lot of melody from the guitars and with two songs containing the word "mosh" ("Rush for the Mosh" and "Mosh Master") it is safe to say these guys are taking a lot of inspiration from the old school Thrash of the 80s. The artwork even has a Repka-esque feel. Horns Up breaks no boundaries so it won't replace any treasured classics but it is solid from start to finish and Thrash fans will certainly enjoy giving it a spin or two.
