Russian blackened Thrash Metal act Ram-page has already recorded three full-length studio albums for their label's roster, of which The Depths of Rage is the latest opus, released in 2013. I was expecting something good from them, keeping in mind that the Russian underground Metal scene is full of bands that have impressed the hell out of me over the last 2-3 years or so.

Musically, Ram-page sound OK, playing Thrash Metal that is relatively well put together but doesn't break ground in any sense. The main problem for me is the vocals; those irritating and amateurish, sand-dry and snarly Black Metal type of vocals simply steal the show - and not in a positive way, unfortunately. They should consider giving the boot to their current vocalist and hiring a new guy in order to kick more ass in the future.

Having said this, I don't see reason for returning to this record or even this band unless some serious improvements take place. Ram-page's average Thrash Metal just doesn't cut it me. I need just a little bit more than what is on The Depths of Rage to get excited about. Uhm... next please.
