Second album from French band Aldaaron, whose debut really blew me away with its style and command. This follow-up is decidedly weaker than the disc it follows, but is still a worthy album. This time out, Aldaaron seem more like they are imitating themselves, and despite some strong riffs the compositions can't hold up to the debut. Vocals are still pretty flat, and don't do anything to make the songs pop. There is some good acoustic work and some fine melodies on this album, but Supreme Silence just can't enthrall like its predecessor.
