Well, I wasn't expecting much from this. Between the band name, the dull cover art, and the fact that M-A lists them as "Death/Grind" I was braced for suckage, but hot damn if this isn't some mighty fine Death Metal, and I am surprised by how much I like it.

First of all, I don't hear any grind here, just riffy, chuggy Death Metal that's not breaking any molds, but it's sure stomping asses. This isn't even that blasty, just good solid riffage with some more melodic parts interspersed among the heaviness. Sure, the vocals are indecipherable and the songs sound a lot alike — what the hell do you want? This is balls-out with a killer production job and Satanic/Nuclear War-themed lyrics that are — pardon the pun — a blast. Modern Death Metal ferocity with a retro kick.
