I won't even try to count the number of albums Motörhead has released... We Are Motörhead is their latest release, 25 years after the band came into existence.

I wasn't expecting anything much different from earlier releases and this is pretty much was this 38:20 (short...) album is: No surprises, just some good Motörhead that most fans will almost certainly like.  This is certainly not their heaviest offering, as Lemmy states in the booklet: "as you get older, you get slower.  I do apologize".  Well, they're still pretty fast, as songs like Stagefright/Crash And Burn show, just following the ballad One More Fucking Time which is quite alright in my opinion, although I yet to get used to Lemmy singing ballads! :)

The ten tracks on this album are all pretty good rockers, except of course for the ballad.  There's even a cover of the well-known God Save The Queen which is quite good, nothing more, nothing less.  The title track is among the fastest on the album, and with pretty humorous lyrics is self-dedicated.  Definitely one of the highlights of the album.

Overall, a very good album, which shows that Motörhead still have what it takes, without making any (or at least not many) compromises.  A must-have for any Motörhead fan, and "non-addicts" will most certainly find something they like with this offering.  "We're Motörhead.  We're gonna kick your ass!" :)
