Debut album of chaotic, flailing Black Metal with some avant-garde influences and pretensions to artiness. Reminds me a good bit of squirrely bands like Nachtmystium or Deathspell Omega—bands that have egos bigger than their talent. This is at least trying to do something off the beaten track, but the jangling, repetitious riffs and crowded songwriting get old really fast.
