Spain's Holycide offer us here some modern-ish thrash that's mostly rooted in old-school German thrash. I was often reminded of Sodom; it's not that they sound like Sodom, but there's a vibe there and the vocals are a little similar to that of Tom Angelripper. Lots of speed here, the music is a little raw but also kind of clean as far as thrash goes. I didn't find the songs to be particularly catchy as only opener "A.I. Supremacy" tends to stick afterwards, but that doesn't prevent most tracks from being solid thrash with good headbanging power. I'd say this is one of those albums filled with songs that don't do much for me on disc but that I expect would totally kill live. Other than the aforementioned opener, I didn't find anything that really stands out from the rest (I do not include the cool cover of Atrophy's "Chemical Dependency" since that's not an original). Nothing bad here and certainly no skippable track, but nothing you haven't heard before either.
