Glory Riders

Now this is some really cool old-school heavy metal with a modern production that doesn’t take anything away from the raw edge of the music. One of the first bands that came to mind was W.A.S.P. (I think the vocalist is a fan) and U.D.O. also comes to mind for the more modern sound. The punchy, crunchy, heavy guitars often remind me of early Twister Sister; heavy as fuck, often dark and crushing, yet somehow delivered in a catchy and somewhat accessible fashion. This is definitely rooted in ‘80s U.S. heavy metal before some bands watered things down to get closer to the commercial glam sound. Not one weak track, lots of earworms, speed aplenty, solos galore, and it gets better with every listen.
