Colombia is becoming a hotbed for quality thrash in recent years, and the third album from Victimized is no exception to that rule. Bay Area Thrash in the vein of Forbidden, Exodus, and Vio-lence is the name of the game on Sonic Violence, these lads have done their homework over their nearly 20-year existence, it seems. The songs are aggressive, varied, and chock full of high-octane riffs, catchy hooks, and angry, urgent vocals working in that style that can only be called thrash. The musicianship is tight and precise too, supported with a clear production that gives everything the room needed to breathe fire into your bitch face, and it complements the speedy old-school assault they're going for, making this a safe bet for any thrash fan out there. Thrash on, Victimized, thrash on.
