This band plays old-school heavy metal with an occasional hard rock vibe, but served with a modern sauce. There's really nothing new here, and I don't care. Skull Fist play really catchy heavy metal that'll get you to sing along and break out the air instruments (guitars and drums, the works) and have a field day looking like an idiot playing them. It's pretty much guaranteed that most of the vocal lines and quite a good chunk of the music here will stick in your head after one, maybe two listens, and you'll be cursing the album for always popping up in your head. It's unpretentious, it's catchy, it's fun, it's... simple, and sometimes that's really all you need in your day.
