Demo MMXX

That band name sure sticks out, doesn't it? This is atmospheric, cold, tortured, depressive and melancholic black metal (that enough qualifiers for you? ;)) The demo chugs along pretty slowly and tricks your mind into going to its darkest corners and you won't get out of there emotionally intact. The songs are very much in the vein of atmospheric black metal from the '90s, sometimes even Burzum-ish but more lo-fi and muddy while still being very listenable. The last track is acoustic and very soothing, but still on the melancholic side. The melodies on this demo will just draw you in and the anguished, tortured vocals are right out of your worst nightmares and fit the desperate mood of the music perfectly. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more from this solo act.
