This is apparently the fourth album from this band, founded and centered on Canadian singer Leah McHenry. She seems to pretty much recruit session players from the metal scene and put out albums of Celtic-influenced Symphonic Metal.
The metal content here is pretty low-key, with the heaviness overshadowed by the symphonic elements. McHenry has a really good voice, and the production puts it right bang in the middle, making this very vocal-oriented. I don't dislike it, but the songs are not tremendously memorable, and the whole thing makes for pleasant background listening, but won't really hold your attention beyond that.
