Finnish Crust/Doom Metal messiahs, Supreme Havoc (members of the band having some background both in the early Finnish Black Metal scene as well as Alternative Rock scene of this millennium), have kept their cauldron cooking well in order to offer us one hell of a poisonous and lethal soup someday.
Well, that day is here now—and yes, they ruthlessly chose to spit eight songs in our faces, in the one and only Supreme Havoc fashion. The band mixes, in a unique and filthy way, some Doom Metal, some Crust, some Hardcore-Punk and some Noise Rock, and this mishmash is undoubtedly appealing to both metal and HC-Punk audiences. Think of a punkier, D-beat driven version of Rotten Sound (sort of), with a dose of Doom Metal elements swallowed in and voilà!, that's Supreme Havoc. Songs like "Extinct" and "Feral", represents the band's fixation to all that is doomy and crusty, while the remaining stuff just wants to scream to be fast, noisy, filthy and ugly, in a nice punk-ish way. In fact, Chicago's noisemakers Bones could be the nearest equivalent to Finland's Supreme Havoc, but with a more mixed and varied amount of noisy ingredients thrown in. Have I mentioned that vocalist Mika Hankaniemi tends to remind me of Chris Reifert (Autopsy) and L-G Petrov (Entombed A.D.) in some peculiar way? Well, if not, now I did.
One and All is meant to grind down your house. Now the question is, do you dare to let it in?
