Preachers of Death

Repulsive Aggression's second album, Preachers of Death, is a clear continuum to all the hard work that they had done on their debut album. Preachers of Death is a tad tighter but also somehow more relaxed sounding package, with a twist of some more dirty and simplified rocking elements à la Venom/Motörhead ("Beat 'em Down" and "Anthropoclast") and even a short yet surprising 'humppa' moment (on "Reign", starting at the 2:05 minute mark). But despite some of these more experimental moments, the band still counts on the elements of the heavier and darker side of Metal music, and if the result wasn't a perfect bullseye, they are coming closer and closer to it.

The raw and dirty sounding Death/Thrash Metal on Preachers of Death smells and tastes really good. It's like a delicious dessert that you don't want to skip after a heavy main course. You will enjoy of it to the very last bit, no matter whether your stomach is already full or not.
