Chronicles

Chronicles is the third full-length from Serbia's Numenor and is another solid slice of epic fantasy Power Metal in the vein of Rhapsody and Ancient Bards. Numenor focus on Middle Earth lyrics (see the track "Moria") and continue to employ both clean and Black male vocals with occasional female singing. There's nothing unusual about the melodic riffs, keyboard flourishes and big choruses though all are played well. This makes Chronicles a safe bet for Power Metal fans but just another entry into a very crowded field that does little to separate itself from the pack.
