Crossover and Thrash Metal, or just Thrashcore, is a beautiful thing when done entertainingly. Final Assault is the kind of an act that really does not leave anyone cold, unless you are already cold like Michael Jackson in his cozy wooden box.
Final Assault spread this beautiful gospel of both Crossover and Thrash Metal. They have been at it since 2009, releasing a couple of studio albums and a pair of EPs. Their latest EP, titled Kick Out Your Brain, contains five songs of energetic, high-octane Crossover/Thrash Metal that in some peculiar way have some elements in them that one can find in Nuclear Assault (talk about some strong Nuclear Assault influence in "Act Your Rage"), D.R.I. and even Death Angel (mostly due to Jänö's vocal approach, who tends to sound a lot like Mark Osegueda at times, without any high-pitch shriek attacks though). Final Assault are on fire on this five-tracker onslaught. They appeal as much to the Crossover audience as they do for the Thrash Metal audience.
