Slovakia's Majster Kat have been around for a while peddling a vaguely Sodom-styled Thrash Metal with vocals that hover somewhere in the middle ground between clean and extreme. Their second full-length album Memento..., all sung in their native Slovak, is the kind of fun but instantly forgettable stuff many of the revivalist Thrash acts are churning out these days. There are plenty of riffs and solos but unless you speak Slovak, you aren't going to be singing along very much. Majster Kat is decent but ultimately just a face in an ever-growing crowd.
