I generally enjoyed this band's debut, the solid The Edge of Horizon back in 2009. They combined crunchy guitar riffage with infectious choruses to produce a fun album, if not a classic. I find I'm not liking this as well. Destination Paradise has the same essential formula, but for one thing the production is not as good, with a smoother and less gripping guitar sound. Sandro Holzer's vocals are still strong, but the vocal hooks are not as good, and the songs suffer from being not very catchy and far too repetitive. This is still a pretty good album, but it just kind of lies there, never seeming to really get going.
