The follow up to 2009's well-received opus Black Future, this new disc sees Vektor going further down the technical path while adding a bit more melody to their Thrash works. Again the primary touchstones are Voivod and Anacrusis with tight, aggressive riffs and a sprawling but non-masturbatory prog sensibility. Tight and technical they are, but they never reach the annoying heights of such misguided bands as Watchtower. This is less vicious than Black Future, with a more melodic aesthetic and looser arrangements, but it is still quite involved and intricate. If you like technical Thrash in any way, then you will find this a band to treasure.
