I really like this, but there really isn't all that much to say about it – I hate it when that happens. This has been in regular rotation here for 2-3 weeks and I have yet to get bored. Supreme Pain hail from The Netherlands and play some blasting Death Metal that borrows quite a bit from the Polish scene (think Behemoth when they're in Death Metal mode) and also a little bit from New York Death Metal (Immolation come to mind at times.) It's not particularly original – if at all – but these guys are good at what they do: it's fast (for the most part), heavy, brutal and yet they found a way to throw in tidbits of melody here and there and the whole thing flows pretty well. All the expected elements are there, the sound is clean but not too much so, and, well, the damn thing just slays. If you're into (mostly) Polish-style Death Metal, this is definitely worth checking out.
