Some old school Death Metal from Germany here. Some of this is a bit monotonous and kind of déjà vu, fast with clickety drums and not much to write home about. On the other hand, there are quite a few more interesting and catchy parts on here, sometimes even flirting with "death 'n' roll" without quite getting there. When Lifeless leave the speedy repetitiveness aside, they make good use of melody - all the while remaining rather visceral. Some speedy and precise solos will practically lift you off your feet, while the occasional gallops call for some headbanging and keep things interesting. The vocals are harsh growls that are sometimes sloppy, but in a good way. The playing is tight and precise and packs one hell of a punch, making even the "dullest" moments still sound pretty good. Not exactly the most original thing out there – in all fairness, it's hard to be original these days – but entertaining enough to check them out.
