Another great teaser from Invection, following 2009's Demented Perception. A little less Slayer-ish this time around and feeling a bit more "modern Thrash", this is nonetheless still pretty much old school Thrash, crossover-style but not overly so. Fast, abrasive riffs are once again at the rendezvous, with flirts into more melodic territory (Bay Area-style). The clean, more or less crossover-style vocals are delivered masterfully, while the guitars and drums shred and pound away like there's no tomorrow. Just like its predecessor, Derealization doesn't invent anything and isn't fancy in any way, but if mid-80s U.S. Thrash is your thing, then you can't go wrong with this, or with its predecessor for that matter.
