This is the second album of extreme orthodoxy from Canadian Black Metal band Evil Wrath. The band members have all done time in various other BM acts, and their bass player is Danny Lilker of all people – yes that Danny Lilker, the Nuclear Assault/Brutal Truth/SOD Danny Lilker. I don't know what the heck he is doing in this band, especially since you can't really hear the bass anyway, this being an old-school raw BM band.

This is not bad, it's just bland, and after listening to the whole thing it starts to annoy with how very, very generic and unexciting it is. The guitar tone is rubbish, with no bite, the vocals are a featureless rasp, and the drums are so badly mixed they are often inaudible. All these songs sound more or less alike, and they do nothing to create atmosphere or interest. If what you want is supremely orthodox Black Metal that exemplifies every cliché of the genre, then sure, but I think there are much better ways to spend your time.
