Avsky (meaning 'disgust' in Swedish) play a Darkthrone-like brand of Black Metal, replete with all the no-frills low-fi jagged fretwork and throat shredding glass gargling barks you'd expect.
I picked this up on a completely blind purchase, so I'm quite pleased to say that there's a hell of a lot of anger bubbling out of this filth-ridden entity that is known as Mass Destruction to warrant a purchase. Keeping to the same unwavering 'true' blueprint all the way through, Avsky would sate even the deepest of cave-dwelling kvltists Transylvanian hunger for nasty, mid-paced Black Metal. There's an occasional bit of thrashiness thrown into the likes of "Knowledge and Hate" to mix things up a bit, but even that's thrashy as in early Venom as opposed to Overkill. The fact that there are touches of the real old school simplistic Hellhammer-like riffage makes you want to reach for those old demos and Celtic Frost albums again, which can only be a good thing in my book.
Not original by anyone's standards, but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless.
