Capitalism 101: when a band leaves a label for greener pastures, the label must gather up whatever flotsam they've allowed to go out of print and throw it all onto a cash-in compilation CD. Earache is notorious for this sort of thing. Luckily, Bolt Thrower are so universally awesome that this 10-track CD conveniently released at roughly the same time as 1998's Mercenary, Who Dares Wins kicks an insane amount of ass and essentially acts as a "greatest hits" from Bolt Thrower's early era.

The compiled material consists of the EP/extended single releases of 'Cenotaph' and 'Spearhead', the latter of which appears in an extended version clocking at almost 9 minutes. There's also an absolutely worthless live version of 'Realm of Chaos' which is fucking horrible and sounds like it was recorded with a walkman and mixed onto magnetic bubble-wrap. The only rare tracks here are that song and the two outtakes from the …For Victory sessions which appeared on some other Earache compilation. Everything else of non-LP origin has been used as CD bonus tracks, but it doesn't matter since every song Bolt Thrower writes is just as awesome as the rest. This band owns you and everything else.
