Okay, this is just silly. This band billed themselves as Death/Thrash, but they were really, really generic Death Metal with a horrible syrup of keyboard wankery poured over everything. Now this was '96, and everything DIGITAL was SOOOOO COOOOL, so perhaps you might be inclined to forgive the hideous computer-generated cover art and the heaping spoonfuls of ELP-styled synth-masturbation that covers every square inch of this CD, but I'm not about to. In it's utter mediocrity of songwriting, complete worship of cutesy spellings of 'magickal' and 'lyricks', and the naïve computer-worship embedded in the art design – in other words, in it's total mid-90's datedness, it is as embarrassing as Bee Gees lunchbox filled with pet rocks, and far less exciting. There's nothing blatantly incompetent about the music, and if you can stand the synth abuse, you might like this better than me. But I for one see music like this as something to be mercifully forgotten.
