Forged in Hatred

Just looking at the cover gives you a good idea what this band is about, as they are homaging the cover painting for Beneath the Remains pretty hard, and the music does not disappoint. This is messy, chaotic Thrash with some similarities to Sepultura in the old days—especially in the drums—but I hear more classic-era Kreator or Slayer, as well as some Sadus with the high-speed flailing and the higher-pitched, venomous vocal style. This is a retro sound that doesn't come across as dated, it just has fistfuls of aggressive riffs and relentless energy. Even if the songs don't have a lot of identity, they still kick ass.
