I've been spinning this one for a while and it doesn't get old. I heard the band's previous album, Barbarians of the Wasteland, and this one here is a lot more fun. Powerful, in-your-face heavy metal with the occasional speed metal leanings are what this album is all about. If you like crunchy, catchy riffs and fist-in-the-air metal, this is it right here. There's a bit of an old-school vibe as the influences go way back, but overall it's a modern sound but definitely not overpolished - more on the raw side, in fact. The vocals may be an acquired taste for some, not exactly clean but not extreme either and mostly decipherable. They totally fit the savage music on offer. I'm a bit annoyed by the hidden track, which shows up after maybe a minute of silence at the end of the official last track. I hate silences like that, but at least it's worth it. It's a live performance and the song is full-speed-ahead insanity made to drive live crowds insane. Recommended.
