Icy Rivers of Hatred

Here we have another one-man band from Ukraine—seem to be getting a lot of those lately—and as I always admire an artist for being able to remain creative during a war, never mind actually getting things recorded and released. This is pretty straightforward Black Metal with a melodic edge, the riffs being really excellent, with a lot of layering and shade. The vocals are a bit one-dimensional and mixed a little too far forward for my liking, but the whole is still a solidly entertaining Black Metal recording.
