Irreverence of the Divine

This is a very underground band who have cranked out three albums in the last 7 years and I hope they all kill as much as this one. This is Death Metal done the old way, with a lot of Swedish-styled crunch to the guitar sound but with a pugilistic approach that is much more an American sound. The riffs are solid, the leads are actually pretty great, and the songwriting is straightforward but kicks enough ass that you don't really care about the lack of frills. Like a cross between classic Entombed and Krisiun, if you have ever liked Death Metal, then this will get you off.
