Black Star

Sweden's Armory, whose last full album, Mercurion, was released in 2022, are getting their name back into the scene with an "EP" (two songs, especially when released on vinyl, is a single in my world) called Black Star. Their style of speedy, underproduced metal with a punk attitude to the vocals is intact and both "Black Star" and "Solar Winds" are designed to get your pulse racing. Neither song is particularly memorable, but both are enjoyable while on, and fans of early Iron Fire or newer bands like Ice War and Aphrodite should find the release to their liking.
