I only have one other album by this Russian band that I got in the early 2000s, but this is their 12th album. Looks like I've been missing some action. Raw, tortured and dark black metal with a subtle epic and even pagan vibe is what can be found on this album. The atmosphere is putrid, about as negative sounding as it gets, and certainly does honour to the band's name. The raspy vocals are in the same vein, spitting hate and devoid of humanity. Some passages sound a bit experimental, though there isn't all that much of that, but you can't miss it when you hear it. A soundtrack to a nightmare.
