Yeah... So apparently Entombed screwed up with their previous album, Same Difference and this is heavier or something. Ok, this is my only Entombed album so I can't make any comparison with their previous offerings.
Not a bad album, but also nothing exciting. Pretty much an album you listen to in the background, as this is pretty much stuff that's already been done. At least they do it right. Some catchy riffs, ok vocals, except some parts of "Year In Year Out" where it seems they used some sort of electronic voice-alteration crap, this ruins the song as far as I'm concerned, I don't know what kind of stunt they were trying to pull on that one.
Essentially a "death rock" album, the lyrics sound kind of used, as in "I've heard this countless times before", pretty negative stuff, but hey, with a name like Entombed I wasn't expecting party songs :). Bottom line, a good album, no more, no less, but, apart from a few exceptions, it kind of left me indifferent. But if Same Difference was mellower than this, I don't want to hear it!
