Second album of highly Germanic Heavy Metal from this (surprise) German band. The thing that will grab your attention is the meaty guitar sound and the tight riff work, but the songwriting will keep you aboard. This has more than a bit of similarity to Manticora, with the brick-through-the-window guitar sound, slightly progressive song structures, and the rather weak vocals of frontman Peter Diersmann. He's not bad, I think he just needs some work. His voice as it is isn't very powerful, lacks range, and sometimes a bit off-key. When they stack up his tracks he sounds better, but if Lars Larsen can turn into a quality singer, then this guy can do it too. Overall, this is a fun album of headbang fuel for fans of Manticora, Ancient Empire, or Emerald. Solid and promising.
