This is yet another fun trek to the good old days. On Handed to Execution, Phantom present some mid-80s-style speed/thrash. You know what this means: think Razor, Sacrifice, Kreator, Sodom... Put all that in a blender and that's roughly what you get here. The vocals are harsh but decipherable enough, like a cross between Razor and Kreator back in the day. Phantom do not colour outside the lines here, they just plow full speed ahead with their influences well worn on their sleeves. It's heavy, raw, fast, violent enough to keep the kiddies at bay, and the album is simply a headbanging fest with lots of occasions to break out the air guitar. If old-school speed/thrash is your thing and you're hankering for more, then Handed to Execution is a must.
