I quite liked the band's debut, though it had some elements I'm usually not particularly fond of, but this sophomore effort does away with most of that and moves the band more into "pure" death and death/thrash/crossover territory. Well produced yet raw-sounding, with razor-sharp riffage that shreds your speakers and your ears, the album just blazes away from beginning to them, a violent onslaught of social commentary and what have you, delivered with loud, angry vocals. It's loud as fuck, brutal, fast and, while I can't say actual songs stuck with me once it was over, some of the riffs, on the other hand, are quite memorable and can summon the air guitar at any moment of the day. Another strong album from a band that I almost dismissed at first.
