Built to Kill

Sixth album from this Spanish band who started with the early Voïvod inspiration and have cut their own way through the underground with a furious black-edged Thrash attack. Korgull albums don't sound much different from each other, but I find myself liking this one better—better riffs, better songs, better production. This is slashing aggression in the vein of Desaster or Nocturnal, all of it derived from classic Sodom, but it seems like this time the band really got a bead on it and hit harder than they have in the past. A fist-pumping, neck-snapping good time.
