Been a few years since I reviewed a Grafvitnir album, and I have to say I find them much more generic this time out. This is still the high-speed Swedish Black Metal they have always played, but this time everything is kind of smoothed out and mulched into a fine, tasteless gruel with no real standout elements. The guitar sound is weak and featureless, the riffs and songwriting are similarly extremely rote and uninteresting, and the whole thing just becomes a blur of generally inoffensive noise.
