Hard to believe I have missed a band this good for six albums, but hey, I can't keep up with everything these days—not even close. Enforcer are such a Swedish band I knew they were one before I even looked. One listen to the glossy, hooky, hard-rock flavored music on offer here and you will know it too. This is obviously a band with a very retro approach, and you will hear bands like Angus, Warhead, Tokyo Blade, and even early Def Leppard in the mix, as well as more modern acts that hark back to those golden '80s like Widow, Skull Fist, and Katana. This album is packed with wailing vocal lines, blazing leads, and riffs that will get your air guitar hand working. If there's a failing to this, it's that it is filled with good songs, but no great ones. You will have a good time all the way through this, but you won't really remember much of it when it's over, and none of the songs really stick. Too many of them sound a lot alike, and the whole thing feels like it needed more time.
