Another Vic Records reissue of some old raw and dirty stuff, and it rocks. This is dirty, rotten, raw blackened death metal and while listening to it I thought, "This reeks of putrefaction" before I noticed that there was a cover of the Carcass song at the end of the album. That should give you an idea that there's nothing pretty on here. It's fast, lo-fi-ish but not too much, and it's all guns blazing from beginning to end. When they're not just breaking all speed limits, they switch into something slower and downright malevolent and dark, really bringing in the black and then some, before stepping on it again. The low, raspy vocals are straight out of hell and fit this hellfest perfectly.
