Blood Oaths

This is a one-man Black Metal band from Massachusetts of all places, and while it does seem a little too obsessed with sound clips and tedious narrative sections from movies or some shit, the meat of the sound is actually some solid second-wave Black Metal, with a nicely sepulchral recording job that recalls bands like Sarcofago or Black Witchery. The riffs are simple but have a nicely chunky style, and the vocals are a malign bellow of demonic wrath tossed into a chaotic mix of blasting and flailing.
