With a band name like Terrörhammer, it's pretty obvious what kind of metal these guys play: old-school blackened thrashing metal. And yeah, it's raw-ish, rather basic and straightforward, and it's been done before by a lot of "-hammer" bands and others. This is like early '80s Venom on steroids, faster and a little heavier. The album is pedal to the metal from beginning to end, no rest for the wicked with this one, and oh my poor neck. With them navigating an overcrowded subgenre and not being particularly original, I thought about rating this a little lower, but what they lack in originality they make up in attitude and delivery. This is a nice bundle of fast, destructive thrashing fun.
