Le diamant de Lucifer

This French band is definitely in that continuum of bands that sometimes get called "speed metal"—even though the definition of that is kind of nebulous. Basically, this is Thrash so hyperactive that you can’t just call it that. Bands like Razor, Exciter, Sodom, etc., all come to mind when hearing this. I guessed this was an Osmose release before I even checked, because it has that characteristic sound that leans more on rhythms than riffs. If you like your metal frenetic, feral, and fast then this is an album to dig on.
