Evidence of what happens when my review queue gets totally out of control. This came through in 2019, but I just now discovered how good it is. This is a great little slice of chaotic, blasting Death Metal with a very dark, subterranean sound and a lot of flailing energy as well as a more melodic and epic edge than is the usual for this kind of band. The instrumental/ambient interludes actually manage to create a grim, eerie mood that lifts this well above the standard. This is shorter than I would like—almost an EP—but it is very cool.
