Diseased

Some cool crusty death metal with a bit of a blackened vibe from Bones here. Diseased is aptly named, especially with those sick vocals that drive this little slab of raw and dirty, gritty musical mayhem. While the vocals are hard to ignore, it's really the thrash riffs that steal the show here with a very old school style that reminds me of the best underground-but-known thrash albums of the mid-80s. Fast, razor-sharp and visceral, speaker-shredding material right here. There are some really catchy bits that stick on first listen and are real highlights on an otherwise take-no-prisoner, in-your-face array of songs. If you like your metal raw, basic and dirty, Diseased has a place in your collection.
